OUR STORY

In 1910 Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vine opened a meat market in the small town of Centreville in Southwest Mississippi. 67 years later, in 1977, Don Vine built a new market which included a traditional smokehouse for Vine’s sausage and other meats. The smokehouse was a hit and Don Vine’s smoked sausage became a local favorite.

Don believed in serving only the best products and treating people like family.
He built his business on three key principles – Quality, Service, and
Cleanliness.

Today, his son Benny Vine continues the legacy and holds true to those same
beliefs and key principles. That’s why, here at Vines Quality Meats, we still
make our famous smoked sausage with the finest cuts of premium pork,
Don’s secret recipe of spices and herbs, and premium hickory wood for
smoking.

Vine Brothers Restaurant began its humble beginnings in 1982 as Vine Brothers Delicatessen by converting a 200 square foot storage room into a deli.  With limited funds, one commercial stove and one deep fryer…..a legend was born.  Our fast “to go” service and popular burgers, clubs, po-boys and fried chicken quickly made a name for themselves.  Soon after “Catfish Friday” was implemented and business began to grow. 

In 2001, a spacious 5,000 square foot, state of the art restaurant was constructed on the west end of the facility in order to meet the demand for our growing restaurant business.  Open 7 days a week for lunch and Friday and Saturday nights from 5pm – 9pm the legend continues.

Deer Processing

Vine Brothers Meats began custom deer processing in 1980. Since then we have successfully processed over 100,000 deer for our customers. We think we know a thing or two about deer processing, especially making deer sausage. Our customers have shared our hickory smoked deer sausages with family and friends for over three decades now creating a larger and larger customer base. Most of our loyal customers drive over an hour one way to get to our place.
